- Police Vs KCCA – Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo @ 4pm

Mandela National stadium, Namboole is the place to be this Sunday when Police hosts KCCA in the only remaining quarter finals of the Uganda Cup.
To reach the stage, the two sides eliminated lower division sides with the Cops edging past Kyetume on penalties following a 1-1 draw in normal time while the Kasasiro oversaw Kataka 5-2 in a game which the Mbale based side led 2-1 at halftime.
Police will be minus over five starters for the crunch tie, on loan from KCCA in midfielders Hakim Ssenkumba and Yasin Mugume, defenders Martin Mpuuga, Brian Ochwo and Paul Willa but Abdallah Mubiru believes in the available players to do the job.
“We can’t be there and mourn about their absence since we knew it before,” he said. “But I believe the available players will do the job on the day,” he added.
Already this season, at the same venue, the Cops rallied to hold their day’s opponents 2-2 despite falling 2-0 with ten minutes to the final whistle.
They come into the game on the back of a similar performance against giants SC Villa who also took a two-goal cushion before the final result read 2-2.
For KCCA, the match, their fourth in a space of eight days will test their stamina as they seek to win a double for the first time in history.
Mike Mutebi is expected to field a strong side and may have midfielders Brian Majwega and Muzamiru Mutyaba back after missing the 1-0 win over Express FC on Friday through injury.
The winner of the crunch tie faces Express in the semi-finals of the 2017 competition.
