Pool Association of Uganda Women Senior League champions Hot Pool Club has reinforced their already star studded squad with Brenda Akiror.

The shooting gem was signed on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The club captain Kim Kirunga handed over the employment contract and cash to the player at Antonio’s Take Away & Restaurant at Pioneer Mall in Kampala.

She disclosed her delight upon joining  Hot Pool;

It has been a hard decision to leave C.K.I Club but I had to mind on my play time and talent considering the depth & quality of squad assembled by C.K.I.

Hot Pool Club first priority to sign me given its ambitions that match my quest to succeed in my career as a Pool player. I believe it’s a club that will help me achieve my personal goals in the sport.

She joins the the likes of Sharon Mirembe, Carol Kanzira, Joan Nampebwa and Justine, a formidable squad that the club believes will mount some good competition in its bid to defend the 2016 ladies trophy.

Akiror started her competitive Pool in 2015.

She was spotted by Kalibala and lured to Betway where she played for a short time before joining C.K.I

Brenda made her debut for Hot Pool on Sunday as they played Anchors in a preseason friendly held at Anchors’ home venue, Ocean Kitintale.
