Key actors:

Shadia Nankya, Lillian Mutunzo and Esther Naluyimba are sure cards for Uganda Martyrs but they face an acid test when they encounter Kenyan scoring gem, Moureen Kinavudori (with 14 goals so far).

Kinavudori will be backed up by Pheobe Banura and shot stopper Cissy Nakigumba.

Enter the defending champions Kawempe Muslim, top scorer Hasifa Nassuna, last season’s MVP, will be eager to add to the 24 regular season goals as Yudaya Nakayenze supplements her role.

Against an Olila side that turns around fortunes for many, Kawempe Muslim will never take the game lightly.

Olila’s goalkeeper Vanesa Karungi will be tasked to be more alert in between the goal posts than ever.

Uganda Crested Cranes winger Fazila Ikwaput and Ritah Nabbossa are the vital play makers for the Soroti based club.

The two finalists and losers will be engaged in the final and third place match respectively on Sunday, 4th June 2017.

The FUFA Women Elite League has been played since 2015 with Kawempe Muslim Women Football Club winning two titles so far.
