Gabon and Zambia played out to a goalless draw during an international friendly match played in Libreville on Sunday.

Both countries were warming up for their respective AFCON 2019 qualification matches slated for this weekend.

Zambia, coached by Wedson Nyirenda is preparing for the home game against Mozambique in Group K at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola on Saturday, June 10.

Only local stars featured in the game and will be joined by seven foreign-based players ahead of the Mozambique.

Zambia started with Power Dynamos keeper Allan Chibwe between in goal with Adrian Chama, Lawrence Chungu, Billy Mutale and Isaac Shamujompa manning the backline.

The forwards were Ronald Kampamba, Brian Mwila and Stanley Nshimbi while the midfield had Fwayo Tembo, Collins Sikombe and Jackson Chirwa.

The Chipolopolo Stars will fly straight from Libreville to Ndola where they will set up camp for the Mozambique match.

According to Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), foreign-based players will join camp after continental engagements at their respective clubs.

Meanwhile, Gabon is in Group C alongside Mali and Burundi.

Gabon kick-starts the campaign away from home to Mali in Bamako on Saturday, June 10.
