Sofapaka Football Club new signing Feni Ali is excited about the fresh challenge ahead of him.

About a week ago, the midfielder born and bred in the footballing hub of Lugazi in Uganda agreed terms with the Kenya Premier League side before signing a two year employment contract.

In a telephone interview with Kawowo Sports, Feni sounded ready for the fresh challenge ahead of him.

First of all, I want to thank my parent club URA Football Club. They have been a great club over the years.

About Sofapaka, I am ready to encounter a new life, fresh challenges as I work within my own means to shine and use the opportunity as a stepping stone for a great future.

After my two years of great service here (at Sofapaka), I am looking at lucrative offers in Europe.

The roving and quick thinking midfielder joins former SC Villa striker Umar Kasumba at the club managed by former Uganda Cranes winger Sam Bamwenyana Ssimbwa.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
