
Legendary goalkeeper of the famous 1978 Uganda Cranes at the Africa Cup of Nations, Paul Ssali Mukisa retained his seat at the FUFA General Assembly.
Ssali, alongside Stone Kyambadde are the two delegates under their umbrella group of the Uganda Football Coaches Association (UFCA).
The duo will now represent the coaches at the 93rd FUFA General Assembly to be organized by Kitara Region in Masindi on 5th August 2017.
In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports, Ssali disclosed his primary role for the coaches in the football august house;
The quality of the game of football depends on the coaches available to tutor the players.
I want to remain focused for the rights of coaches in Uganda.
In football, the coaches and players are a crucial element in the football development process.
Therefore, key of my interest still lays along the coaches education. I want to see that more coaches are educated right from beginners’ CAF levels C, B and A.
Ssali also hints of a keen follow up procedure and development of all the coaches.
The 88 FUFA delegates, the coaches’ representatives inclusive will converge in Kitara for the Elective Assembly.
