Newly elected FUFA Big League delegate Denis Musinguzi, also the chairperson of Kitara Football Club has promoted to serve football to the brim.

In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports, Musinguzi, one of the 8 delegates who will represent the FUFA Big League clubs disclosed his bold intentions;

I am extremely overwhelmed to be among the delegates to discuss football at the supreme House of football in Uganda.

To serve football, it is a calling. It necessitates passion, time and resources.

I am more than ready to serve the beautiful game.

Musinguzi was elected unopposed alongside 7 other delegates from this second highest lower tier league.

The others are; Faisal Muhammed (JMC Hippos), Norman Ssemwanga (Kireka United), Synergy’s coach Brian Ssenyondo, Hassan Kirunda Kakaire (Kataka F.C, Mbale), Apollo Ahimbisibwe (Ntinda United), Paul Mark Kayongo (Ndejje University) and Alfred Odaga (Paidha Black Angels).

These 8 officials are part of the 88 delegates that will participate in the FUFA Elective Assembly to be held in two months’ time.

Out of these total delegates, more than half (48) are from the 8 FUFA regions.

Others are from the top flight league, players, women, referees and coaches’ associations.

The key agenda of the 93rd FUFA Assembly shall be elections of the FUFA president.

Already two candidates Ben Immanuel Misagga and the incumbent Moses Magogo have picked the bank slips pending payment and nomination as successful aspirants.

The Elective Assembly will be held at Masindi hotel, hosted by Kitara Region.

The date of assembly is already fixed for August 5th in Masindi.
