Soana Football Club has agreed terms with a third player ahead of  official opening of the transfer window on 1st July 2017.

Swaibu Mudde, formerly at relegated Lweza and Express’ defender Farouk Ssentongo are the two additions that join fast winger Muwadda Mawejje, who was signed last Friday.

Mudde and Ssentongo finalized with the talks and signed the binding documentations with the Soana director, Smart Obedi.

The duo join 24-year-old Mawejje, formerly at Sports Club Victoria University to bolster Alex Isabirye’s squad for the season ahead.

“I will continue to look around. I want to make my squad as solid as ever,” Obedi told Kawowo Sports.

Soana parted ways with Patrick ‘Crespo’ Asiku who returned to his parent club, BUL in Jinja.

The club coach has reportedly identified some players yet to be signed like Nsaagu’s Sande Yiga who impressed during their Buganda Regional final against Kyetume.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
