Uganda Cranes striker Yunus Sentamu marked a losing debut with his new Albanian club KF Tirana in the UEFA Europa Qualifiers at Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday night.

A goal in each half ensured the hosts  have a two goal advantage heading to the return leg next week.

Yonatan Cohen and Eliazer Dasa were on target in the 27th and 64th minutes respectively.

Sentamu played the game for 90 minutes and was also booked.

It was also a losing start for Brazilian born head coach Ze Maria, who handled his first match for Tirana after taking over from Albanian Mirel Josa.

The return leg will take place next week in Albania.
