2017 Airtel Masaza Cup

  • Bulemeezi Vs Gomba – Kasana playground, Luweero (4:30 p.m)

Bulemeezi is set to host three time winners, Gomba in the opening leg of the first Airtel Masaza Cup quarter final at Kasana playground in Luweero.

This will be the only match on the day as the other three matches shall be played on the following day.

According to Bulemeezi head coach Gerald Ssenkungu, they expect to optimally utilize their home ground so that they pick the desired result ahead of next weekend’s return leg.

We are at home and do not have any fears.

We shall work within our means to get a convincing result because we are aware that there is a lot to play for in the return leg.

The other three quarter finals will come on Sunday.

Mawokota entertains defending champions Buddu at the Buwama playground, along Masaka road.

2006 winners Kooki will take on Busiro at the Lwanda playground in Rakai district and Singo will host Bugerere at the Mityana Ssaza ground

The quarter finals and semi-final stage will be played on a home and away format.

The Masaza football tournament has been played since 2004 in Buganda.

  • Mawokota Vs Buddu – Buwama, along Masaka road
  • Kooki Vs Busiro – Lwanda playground, Rakai
  • Singo Vs Bugerere – Mityana Ssaza ground
