Togo International defender Djene Dakonam Ortega returns to Spain for another stint, signing a four year deal with Getafe.

The defender who is integral for the Sparrow Hawks backline since 2012 joins the returning La liga side on a four year deal from Belgium side, Sint-Truidense.

Djene was part of the Togo team that played Uganda Cranes in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers 2018 which the Cranes won to reach the group stages of the ongoing qualifiers.

He also featured in all matches as the team reached the quarter finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Previously, the 25 year old Djene had played for second-tier Alcorcon between 2014 and 2016.
