Sulaimon Akinyemu has joined Buildcon

Sulaimon Akinyemi has completed his transfer to FAZ Super League side, Buildcon FC.

The Nigerian midfielder joins on a free transfer from KCCA and has reportedly penned a two year deal at the Ndola based side.

Akinyemi joined the Kasasiro at the start of the 2015/16 season and was instrumental in the team’s success that campaign scoring crucial goals including the winner against SC Villa which won the Lugogo side the title as believed by Coach Mike Mutebi.

However, he was frustrated by lack of enough game time last season just like a couple of senior players and had nothing but to opt against renewing his contract.

At Buildcon, he joins former KCCA teammate Geoffrey Sserunkuma who also penned a two year deal close to a fortnight ago.

Buildcon is also home to Uganda Cranes defender Isaac Isinde and Kenyan internationals Clifton Miheso and John Mark Makwata.

KCCA departures

Tom Masiko, Sserunkuma, Ivan Ntege and Akinyemi have so far left the Lugogo based side while Robert Ssentongo, Vincent Kayizzi and Brian Majwega are on the verge of exit.
