The tagline Ezra Bidda is not new to the eyes of many ardent football followers.

For starters, Bidda was the youngest member of the Uganda Cubs squad coached Mathias Lule and Peter Onen that took part in the 2015 CAF U-17 qualifiers.

Back then, Bidda was aged 15 years.

Today, he is 18 and ready to sign his first license in the top flight division with Arua side, Onduparaka Football Club.

He has already played in two Onduparaka pre-season games against Masindi Select and Kitara Football Club.

In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports, Bidda believes it is the time for him to rise to the big occasion.

I have always patiently waited for this chance. I never stop training and the opportunity to sign at Onduparaka is welcome to help me prove my worth

The former Telemuga Primary School pupil acknowledges that playing in the top flight comes with challenges.

On a positive note, he is confident of facing all the hurdles in his midst.

“I am ready to learn from the senior players in the team. I will deliver to my best,” he says.

Bidda is among the new signings at Onduparaka.

Others are; left Vianney Ssekajugo, goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato, midfielder Allan Busobozi, right back Aggrey Kirya, left back Rashid Okocha.

The new football season will start early next month with the traditional curtain raiser the Super Cup between Uganda Premier League champions KCCA and runners up, SC Villa.

The Uganda Premier League officially kicks off on 12th September 2017.
