Mmamba Gabunga and Ffumbe clans have the early advantage ahead of the 2017 Bika Bya Baganda quarter finals.

The two teams won their respective first legs in the Round of 16 at the Mutesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

In the early kick off, Mmamba Gabunga pipped another Mmamba entity in Kakoboza 1-0 with the lone strike coming from SC Villa’s Farouk Kizito Musisi.

In the subsequent match, Ffumbe defeated Mathias Lule’s coached Ngeye 3-0.

Ffumbe’s goals came from their team captain, Mustafa Kasolo (brace) and Newton Ssekasi.

The return legs will be played on Tuesday next week (22nd August 2017).

Meanwhile, the return legs for Nvuma against Nte as well as Ndiga and Mpindi will be played on Wednesday. Nte won the first leg 1-0 whilst Ndiga and Mpindi played to a 2-2 draw.

Wednesday matches:

  • Nvuma vs Nte – 2 p.m
  • Ndiga vs Mpindi – 4 p.m
