Police FC have acquired the services of goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo on a season long loan deal.
Kisembo left the Cops a year ago for KCCA but has found playing time hard to come with Benjamin Ochan the most preferred choice between the posts.
However, the custodian played his part in the KCCA double championship winning season including stopping Police from eliminating them at the quarter finals of the Uganda Cup.
Kisembo was the hero for the Lugogo based side saving an extra time penalty to ensure the Kasasiro won the tie 2-1 to go on and win it.
“It’s a pleasure to be back home,” said Kisembo who will have to fight for a starting place with new signing Simon Tamale from Lungujja Galaxy and Davies Mutebi.
Mutebi put in a shift towards the end of last season as the 2005 champions survived relegation on the final day of the season.
Kisembo is the 10th new face at the Kibuli based side and the one of the only two players on loan together with Aggrey Madoi from Vipers.
The Kasasiro have already filled his void with Jamil Maliyamungu from Maroons.
