Guinea hosts Senegal on Tuesday evening in the final game of CHAN 2018 qualifiers.

The first leg ended 3-1 in favour of the Terenga Lions of Senegal in Dakar.

Guinea seeks a 2-0 home result to progress with an away goal advantage and secure a slot to the 2018 championship in Kenya.

A draw or loss by a margin of one goal is good enough to see Senegal progress.

There are 15 countries already confirmed for the final tournament in Kenya if they don’t lose rights to host the event.

The final tournament will be held in Kenya between 11th January to 2nd February 2018.

Successful countries so far

  • Northern Zone: Libya, Morocco
  • West Zone A & B: Mauritania, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso
  • Central Zone:  Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Cameroon
  • Central East Zone: Kenya (hosts), Uganda, Sudan
  • Southern Zone: Angola, Zambia, Namibia
