Sports Club Villa Jogoo has confirmed a domestic friendly match with Bright Stars scheduled for Wednesday, August 30.

The match will take place at the Jogoos’ training base – Villa Park in Nsambya, Kampala.

The Jooogos have played a couple of friendlies in the pre-season against South Korea’s Hallelujah (won 4-2), Uganda Cranes (0-0) and their 1-0 loss to Mbale Heroes.

After Wednesday’s match, SC Villa Jogoo will travel to Rwanda for a training camp.

While in Rwanda, the Jogoos will play two international club friendly matches against Rayon Sports and APR.

The match against the reigning Rwanda Premier League champions Rayon Sports will be played on 2nd September 2017 at Amahoro stadium.

Three days later, the Jogoos will take on army side APR at the same venue

The Uganda football season officially gets underway on September 9 with the FUFA Super Cup.

On September 12, the league will officially kick off with six games. SC Villa play host to Soana at the Masaka Recreational stadium while Bright Stars will be home to Vipers at the Champions stadium in Mwererwe.
