The Uganda Cranes team continued with the recovery training session on Saturday morning at the Mandela National Stadium.
The two hour session followed Friday’s light session that hours after the historic victory on Thursday.
A lot of stretching drills were conducted to ensure full recovery of the players muscles.
All the players are fit including Faruku Miya, Khalid Aucho and Emmanuel Okwi, all who suffered knocks in the first leg clash.
The team will rest till evening in preparation for the travel journey that started at 4:00 a.m Sunday.
According to the FUFA Communications Manager, Ahmed Hussein who will also travel with the team to Egypt, the team will be able to train on Sunday evening upon arrival in Egypt.
The final training session in Egypt will be held at the actual match venue (Borg El Arab Stadium) on Monday evening ahead of Tuesday’s crucial match.
Uganda Cranes currently remain the only unbeaten side in Group E and lead with 7 points from three matches. Egypt has 6 whilst Ghana and Congo have 2 and 1 point respectively.
