- KCCA Vs Maroons – StarTimes stadium, Lugogo @ 4.30pm

Patrick Kaddu will be the centre of attention at Lugogo when KCCA hosts Maroons in their season opener for the 2017/18 Uganda Premier League.
The striker who joined the Kasasiro from Maroons in the window turns swords against a side he helped gain promotion after scoring 16 goals last season.
Kaddu marked his competitive debut for KCCA with a goal in the 3-0 win over Paidha Black Angels in the FUFA Super Cup on Saturday and would love to build on that.
His new coach Mike Mutebi believes he will do well to push the now established Derrick Nsibambi.
“He was top scorer in the FUFA Big League so he is a goal scorer,” said Mutebi. “Just like Malangu from Busia Fisheries and Tito Okello who have also been doing well for their respective clubs, we expect them to bring goals,” he added.
The back to back champions have mostly used new players in pre-season friendly games but are expected to name a changed side involving players that return from international duty.

Benjamin Ochan, Timothy Awany, Muzamiru Mutyaba, Isaac Muleme and Derrick Nsibambi are all expected to start against the new entrants.
Maroons have had good preparations but the dark side of it has been Asaph Mwebaze trying to resign.
However, the best part of it has been the club keeping their long serving coach and also added a few experienced players in Ashad Bugembe who replaces Jamal Maliyamungu, William Wadri, Ivan Wani from Kirinya Jinja SS, and the MVP of this year’s Copa Coca Cola.
Together with Maxwell Okello, Eddie Kapampa, Ronald Orombi, Allan Anguyo and the exciting Pius Obuya, the Prisoners will hope to stun the Kasasiro with whom they have close acquaintances.
The last premier league meeting between the two sides ended 1-0 in favour of KCCA courtesy of Paul Mucureezi who is expected to be integral again come Tuesday
