Ins: Abdallah Muhammad, Tito Okello, Faisal Kiberu, Allan Oryek, Jamal Maliyamungu, Flibert Obechan, James Begisa, Ibrahim Wamannah, Faisam Ndjibu, Abubaker Saddiq Tijjani, Patrick Kaddu.
Outs: Ivan Ntege, Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Tom Masiko, Robert Ssentongo, Sulaimon Akinyemi, Douglas Kisembo, Vincent Kayizzi, Hassan Wasswa Dazo, Lawrence Kasadha, Denis Rukundo
Most exciting signing: Patrick Kaddu has proved his prowess in front of goal at both Maroons and Kira Young. A good header of the ball, the striker is likely to blossom with much better service at Lugogo but how he fits in the team with Derrick Nsibambi the lead striker begs some questions.
An unknown likely to surprise: Faisam Malango Ndjibu caught the eye of Mike Mutebi on a pre-season trial game in Busia. A centre forward with a good size, the Congolese comes as an unknown but if he merits game time, he is likely to surprise the KCCA faithful.
Key Player: Derrick Nsibambi continues to develop as a centre forward and with Sserunkuma now out, he will be the man tasked to lead the hunt for goals. What a task? But he has proved he can do that and the biggest target now will be to hit double figures in the league – a feat he is yet to achieve since joining the club four years ago.
Tactics: Mutebi is a big fan of free flowing football and is most likely to stick with his preferred 3-5-2 formation.
He seems to have got the players that fit into it but of course, he has the ammunition to change tactics depending on game situation and that is most likely to be 4-4-2 Diamond.
