Uganda will have to do it the hard way if they are to make the global qualifiers after they lost to favorites Zimbabwe by 59 runs last evening.

The win for Zimbabwe means they go straight into the final while Uganda will face old enemy Kenya in the playoff with the winner facing Zimbabwe in Saturday’s final.
Uganda had managed to pick up 3 wins out of its 3 games but they met a roadblock in Zimbabwe who blasted 162/2 in their 20 overs.
The Ugandan bowling line up has been mostly tight but they failed to make any inroads with Zimbabwe picking up only 2 wickets.
In reply though Uganda scored 102/6 they failed to overhaul the total as they poorly paced their innings in t20 style. On form Gertude Chandiru (26) and opener Saidat Kemigisha (20) were the top run scorchers.
Kenya sneaked into the playoffs after seeing off hosts Namibia in a tense game in the morning setting up a derby with Uganda.
Kenya in recent past has made it a habit defeating Uganda when it matters most but Friday will be a chance for Grace Mutyagaba and his girls to stop this trend.
