The reigning Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC have failed to register a win in their first two games of the 2017-18 season.

A goalless draw on the opening day of the season against Maroons at Lugogo was followed with another stalemate, this time away to UPDF in Bombo.

Muzamiru Mutyaba put the 12 time league winners ahead at the Bombo Military stadium but Ezikiel Katende had other ideas altogether with the equalizer just after the break.

The visitors however had the chance to bury off the game with a penalty chance, earned after debutant Patrick Kaddu was brought down in the area.

However, striker Derrick Nsibambi blasted the ball over the bar and the two sides shared the spoils.

KCCA now has two points from two matches and UPDF who lost their opener to URA has one point.

Mike Mutebi’s charges will face Onduparaka at Lugogo on Tuesday.
