- Green Eagles 0-2 Buidcon

Uganda Cranes forward Geoffrey Sserunkuma is tailor made to score.
Weeks after an acrobatic volley in Buildcon’s 3-1 home victory against Nkwazi, Sserunkuma returned to the score sheet in the 2-0 away win over the Green Eagles at the Independence Stadium, Choma on Saturday.
Fresh from Uganda Cranes back-to-back 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Egypt, Sserunkuma did exactly what he knows best – scoring.
Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba got the opener for the visitors before the veteran Ugandan center forward added the second, his fourth goal since completing the switch from KCCA in July.
Buildcon is also home to another Uganda Cranes player, Isaac Isinde and former KCCA midfielder Sulaimon Akinyemi.
Green Eagles fielded another Ugandan Boban Zirintusa Bogere who was a second half substitute.
Buildcon moves to 8th on the 20 team log with 40 points from 27 matches.
A host of other Ugandans play in Zambia. Left back Joseph Ochaya and forward Herman Nteza Wasswa feature at Lusaka Dynamos.
Mufulira Wanderers is home for Paddy Tebusweke whilst Zesco United is home for lanky forward Davis Kasirye.
Over the weekend, Zesco United earned a goalless draw at SuperSport in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter final.
