Doves Football Club continued with their sound pre-season preparations with a 4-1 victory over Nakasongola Town Council on Sunday.

Murushid Mugwanya marked 100th club appearance with stunning hat-trick. Amis Muwonge rounded off the defenders and goalkeeper to score the 4th and the icing on the cake.

Midfielder Godfrey Ayiko was sent off for an early shower after unsporting conduct.

The Kitara Region Albertine ground zonal mini league champions played their second friendly match within seven days.

The Masindi based side fell to Wakiso based club Kyengeza 2-1.

Doves director Julius Mugisa urged his charges to be consistent and uphold to the great winning culture.

“I challenge you to maintain the winning mentality and be consistent to achieve desirable results” Mugisa stated.

Doves will play in the Kitara Regional League.
