Jackson Nunda described his goal in Tuesday’s KCCA FC win over Onduparaka as the best goal he has ever scored.

The attacking midfielder came off the bench to score the Kasasiro’s third goal at Lugogo as Mike Mutebi’s charges thumped the visiting Caterpillars 4-1 in a five goal thriller.

With 85 minutes on the clock, Nunda received a headed pass from Patrick Kaddu, beat his mark with a deft touch, faked goalie Nicholas Sebwato with a dummy that left him crawling on the wet astro turf before slotting home in an empty net.

Speaking to Kawowo Sports after the game, the former SC Villa midfielder whose career has been hampered by injuries admitted he has never scored a better goal.

“Yeah, I think that’s my best one,” he said. “I have scored some beauties though in training but in a match, nothing beats this,” he added.

It’s instinctive. You don’t have time to think about what you’re going to do.

The goal sent even the opposing fans into frenzy and will be broadcast around the country for weeks.

His coach Mike Mutebi was equally delighted and hinted that it’s what people come to watch.

“It’s indescribable,” he said. “I think even the opposing coach, Leo Adraa enjoyed it,” he joked.

If fit, Nunda is a player who keeps fans on the edges of their seats with his sweet left foot and does all he does effortlessly.
