Exactly, 16 time record  Uganda Premier league winners Sports Club Villa Jogoo required a sound mentality in their slim 1-0 home victory against visiting Mbarara City at the Masaka Recreational stadium on Wednesday.

Second half substitute Yubu Bogere scored late, with 8 minutes left on the clock for the maximum points.

This was the second home win for Wasswa Bbosa’s side in 4 matches.

SC Villa also defeated Soana in the opener 1-0 courtesy of a Vitalis Tabu free-kick.

They drew one all to Police at Namboole and lost last Saturday 1-0 to Vipers.

The Jogoos are now third on the 16 team log with 7 points, same as Police and Onduparaka.

Mbarara City is 9th with 5 points collected in 4 games, same as Kirinya-Jinja S.S, BUL and Uganda Revenue Authority Football clubs.

Like the rest of the clubs, SC Villa will take a long international break and will only return into action on 14th October 2017 at Masaka Recreational stadium against UPDF.
