Police FC Coach, Abdallah Mubiru has questioned some of the refereeing decisions in the 1-0 defeat to Onduparaka.

Alfred Leku came off the bench to score the winner in the 70th minute at the Green Light stadium, Arua and condemned the 2005 league champions to their first defeat of the season.

The Cops have had a bright start to the 2017/18 Uganda Premier League season winning twice and drawing once before the loss to the Caterpillars.

“It’s normal to lose in football but it hurts to lose when match officials make questionable decisions,” Mubiru told reporters.

“I don’t want to talk about officiating and referees decision but my message is that they think about being fair regardless. Some of the decisions were shocking but we move on and focus on another game.”

Green Light stadium isn’t alien to controversies and just last season, KCCA manager Mike Mutebi lost his cool as his side lost 2-1 at the venue and described the refereeing decisions on the day as stupid while SC Villa coaches were also infuriated in the 4-3 loss.

Second placed Police FC will have to wait for more than two weeks for a league action with a mouthwatering clash against log leaders Vipers at Namboole.
