Bamasaaba Bikuuka Tournament

Saturday 30th September 2017 (Both matches at 4 p.m)

  • Group C: Kobero Clan Vs Wakoko Clan – Bugobero playground, Manafwa District 
  • Group H: Musoba Clan Vs Sano – School for the Deaf playground, Mbale 

Bamasaaba Bikuuka Tournament returns with mouthwatering encounters in both football and netball as Kobero clan hosts Wakoko at Bugobero playground in Manafwa.

It will be the first group game for the home team while Wakoko will be playing its second game. Wakoko will be looking for maximum points to seal qualification to the Round of 16 having beaten Mutilu 1-0 in the first game.

Joshua Kuya, the team coordinator Gobero clan notes that his team is well organized and ready to wins in both football and netball while Mabonga Tom the coordinator Wakoko clan believes his team will play like a final since they need only three pionts to qualify to round of 16.

Wakoko leads Group C with 3 points from one, Gobero has never played any game but stands in the second position with zero while Mutilu is the last in the group with 0 points and negative one goals.

On the same day, Musoba clan while host Sano clan in the Group H game at Mbale School for the Deaf playground in Mbale district, a match which will be watched by Bamasaaba Cultural leader Umukuka Bob Mushikori.

It is a must win game for Sano clan who have lost the opening two games to Siu and Shiende 4-2 and 1-0 respectively.

Isreal Koboi, the Chairperson organizing committee of Bamasaaba Bikuuka Tournament has urged players and fans to uphold discipline during the games for unity which is the main objective of the tournament to prevail. He also warned against use of mercenaries.
