Ibrahim Kirya has admitted being under pressure after his team lost 1-0 to Express FC in the league at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
Daniel ‘Mzee’ Sserunkuma winner at the stroke of half time condemned the visitors to their second defeat in five games and the team has now gone four successive league matches without a goal.
“It can’t get any worse,” said Kirya. “We continue to lose in a disappointing manner. We gave away a silly goal and failed to utilise our chances,” he added.
We are in a difficult situation now because we continue dropping points but we shall not give up until we rectify each and every problem.
Tasked to reveal where he feels his side must improve after picking just one win, the former Lweza and SC Villa coach pointed at every department.
We ain’t defending well and neither are we scoring goals so we need to work on every department.
Against the Red Eagles, Kirya started with enterprising midfielder Shafik Kagimu on the bench but made an early change as he came on for Said Kyeyune.
Kagimu was just returning from an injury he sustained in training whilst Kyeyune suffered a knock so we had to make a forced change early on.
Despite being under pressure, Kirya made it clear he won’t give up on making things right at the club tipped by many pundits as among the favourites for the title this season.
