- SC Villa Jogoo Vs UPDF – Masaka Recreational Stadium, Masaka (4:00 p.m)

Record champions Sports Club Villa Jogoo entertain Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) at the Masaka Recreational Stadium on Saturday.
Ranking aloft either sides’ agenda will be the fight for maximum points at a stage when just a single point separates the two sides.
Sports Club Villa, victims of two docked points by the FUFA Disciplinary Committee due to their fans’ violence, have 5 points as UPDF is on 4.
At home again after winning there late against Mbarara City, SC Villa head coach Wasswa Bbosa targets maximum points if he is to reduce on the growing tension concerning team selection as raised by the club president Ben Misagga during the fans’ meeting at Villa Park.
For the first time since the disciplinary committee suspended goalkeeper Samson Kirya, the Jogoos are expected to name his immediate understudy Samuel Kivumbi between the goal posts.
Winger cum forward Godfrey Lwesibawa was suspended by the club over inciting players’ revolt and will not take part in the game too.
Apart from winger Vitalis Tabu who left for trials in South Africa, the rest of the players are available for selection.
Lead forwards George Ssenkaaba and Alex Kitata are reunited after their Saints display back in the days.
The Jogoos’ strongest department is the midfield with Nicholas Kasozi, Abel Eturude, Farouk Musisi among others all available for selection.
Moses Basena returns to the UPDF technical bench after a hectic time with the Uganda Cranes in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign that also saw him the club’s match at BUL F.C three weeks ago.

In Ezikiel Katende, one player that denied KCCA maximum points in Bombo and scored the lone winning strike against Express, UPDF has a potent weapon of massive destruction that Villa should be wary of.
The other UPDF player that Villa should take keen note of is veteran center forward Godfrey Wakaza.

SC Villa is currently 11th and UPDF sits second from the bottom placed Masavu.
On Saturday, there are three other games. BUL hosts KCCA in Jinja, Police is at home to Vipers at Namboole and Onduparaka entertains Soana at the GreenLight stadium in Arua.
