After falling to Police FC at Namboole over the weekend, Vipers SC have a chance to react with a home tie against Soana on Wednesday.
The former champions, lost top spot with a loss against the Cops but have a chance to reclaim it with maximum points.
Assistant coach Edward Golola was infuriated by the display of his charges put promised a much changed side come Wednesday.
“We made so many mistakes especially in defence,” he said. “But as coaches, the task is to iron them out and on Wednesday, am confident of victory,” he added.
The Venoms have a brilliant record over Shafik Bisaso’s men with seven wins out of the previous eight meetings while the other was been a draw.
Soana lost their previous two league games 2-0 to Proline and Onduparaka and will be lucky to leave the intimidating Kitende with all points.
