Heathens have to quickly dust off the 31-20 loss to Pirates in Uganda Cup final and switch focus to defending the premiership.

There no time to rest after grueling cup campaign as the Uganda Rugby Union (URU) released the 2017-18 Rugby Premiership fixture.

The league is scheduled to kick off on next Saturday, November 18 and Heathens travel to Jinja to play newcomers Hippos at Dam Waters on the opening day.

Buffaloes will start the season at the house of pain against Mongers, while contenders Rhinos start their campaign against Warriors.

Meanwhile, Kobs who were dethroned by Heathens open up against Rams at Makerere and Impis will tussle it out with Uganda Cup winners Pirates at the same ground.
