Following a successful Match Day 1 of the 2017-18 Futsal Super League, the league returns with three fixtures on Match Day 2 on Thursday night.
The thick of this flood lit action will be at the International Futsal Courts along Balintuma road in Mengo – Kisenyi, Kampala.
Yap Stars open up against Parakeets in the early fixture at 7 p.m.
Riham will host Sauna in the immediate subsequent match before KSPG entertain Yeak Kabowa in the final game at 9 p.m.
On Match Day 1, a total of 24 goals were scored. Bajim’s 5-7 loss to Park produced the most goals. Dream’s slim 3-2 victory against Kabowa had the least goals scored.
Meanwhile, Super Cup winner Typhoons succumbed to a shocking 4-3 loss at the hands of Elephants.
Pius Sserugo, an official of Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) urges the public and keen fans of the game to turn up and support the growth of this indoor version of football.
The game is an interesting one. I encourage all football lovers to come around and watch the mouth watering action every Thursday night at the International Futsal Courts in Kampala
The league will be played through to January 2018.
