Algeria national football team defeated Rwanda Amavubi Stars 4-1 during a friendly match played on Wednesday in Tunis, Tunisia.

Farouk Chafai netted twice in the 10th and 29th minutes as the Algeria Desert Foxes led  3-0 in the opening half an hour of the game.

Lamine Abid had doubled Algeria’s lead on 22 minutes.

Rwanda pulled a goal back through substitute striker Mubumbyi Barnabe in the 79th minute.

With three minutes to the end of the game, El Habib Bouguelmouna scored the fourth goal for Algeria coached by Rabah Madjer.

This was Rwanda’s third and final build. The first build up with Sudan was aborted after 40 minutes with both teams tied goal-less.

During the second build up, Rwanda played to a one all draw with Namibia.
