  • Pirates vs. Jinja Hippos – Legends, 2:30

If there’s a side that’s going to keep up with the pace of Kobs in the National Rugby Premiership, it certainly is Black pirates.

With Kobs ripping Impis apart on Friday, Pirates will be in destruction mode as they seek to keep up with leaders.

Pirates pushed over Rhinos’ packs in their last game and with their flying backs, Hippos who have just a single win to their name will have a torrid afternoon at Legends.

Pirates form and dominance that has seen then win six of seven so far is expected to continue into the Hippos clash especially in the scrums and lineout.

Johnson Baiga, Romeo Mukobe and company will have put in in more effort to move the likes of Owen Babiiha, Ivan Cadri and Edgar Pajob in Pirates forward line.

While John Echeru as well as Denis Etau are exciting with their pace, kicking and abilities to keep defenses one their toes, Hippos backs are up for a tougher test in Baron Kasozi, Timothy Kisiga and Isaac Massa coupled with the ingenuity of Conrad Wanyama and Ivan Magomu.

Other Games

In other fixtures, Mongers host rejuvenated Heathens at the House of Pain while Rhinos will be at the Graveyard looking to bounce back against Rams.

Buffaloes will play Warriors in the other game at Legends.
