Quarter final matches played on Saturday:
- Morocco 2-0 Namibia
- Zambia 0-1 Sudan

Morocco overcame South African country Namibia 2-0 in Casablanca to qualify for the semi finals of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) semi final on Saturday.
Tournament leading top scorer Ayoub El Kaabi broke the deadlock nine minutes before the break to give the hundreds of fans in the stands some smiles.
El Kaabi latched on to Walid El Karti’s first time pass to beat the Loydt Kazapua in the Namibian goal for his 6th goal of the tournament.
Earlier, Namibia had threatened when Itamuna Keimuine’s cross just about missed Ilmbondi at the back post six minutes into the game.
On the 55th minute mark, Salaheddine Saidi converted a clinical glancing header past the goalkeeper from a teasing corner kick.
Morocco had a chance for the third but Nahiri hit the cross bar from a free-kick.
The host country’s midfielder Salaheddine Saidi was named man of the match.
The other semi final on Saturday played in Marrakech witnessed Sudan pip Zambia 1-0.
Saifeldin Bakhit was the hero with the lone strike on the night.
The other two quarter final matches will be played on Sunday.
