Myanmar National League 2018:

  • Shan United 2-1 Hantharwady United

The Myanmar national league continued with a couple of matches.

Shan United overcame Joseph Mpande’s Hantharwady United 2-1 at the Taunggyi Stadium on Sunday.

Hantharwady United had the previous week started well when they recorded a 2-1 home victory against Sagaing at the Grand Royal Stadium in Taungoo, Bago region with Mpande scoring a great free-kick.

Meanwhile, the league returns on Sunday with several matches.

Hantharwady United will still be playing away from home against Magwe as Shan United hosts table leaders Yadanarbon at their Taunggyi fortress.

Yadanarbon leads the 12 team log with 9 points, same as Yangon United although the leaders have a superior goal difference.
