Spartans F.C Tour to Jinja:

  • Thursday, 1st February 2018: BUL Vs Spartans – Tobbaco Stadium (3 pm)
  • Friday, 2nd February 2018: Jinja Municipal Council Hippos Vs Spartans – Kakindu Stadium (9 a.m)
  • Saturday, 3rd February 2018: Lubaga Youth Vs Spartans – FUFA Technical Center, Njeru (4 p.m)
Kampala Regional side, Spartans Football Club will play a series of friendly matches with Jinja based clubs.
The development was confirmed to Kawowo Sports by the club’s technical adviser, brand manager cum public relations officer, Tendo Musoke on Wednesday.
Musoke, a former exciting former in his hey days confirmed the trip during an interview;
We shall travel to Jinja and play a number of games as we prepare for the kick off the second round.
This is a four day team bonding tour to help our new signings gel into the team
The Kampala outfit will engage one top flight club, BUL, non-league side and a FUFA big league outfit, Jinja Municipal Council Hippos Football Club.
On Thursday, BUL hosts Spartans at Tobacco stadium at 3 p.m. Spartans will then face JMC Hippos the next day before winding up the trip on Saturday against Lubaga Youth at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
New recruits:
Some of the club’s new signings include Kudrat Lubega from Life Eternal Football Club, Michael Mwanje  (Namasuba United), Ronald Kamanje (Kasese New Villa), Salim Kyobe (Bweyogerere FC), Julius Sseguya (Kasenge FC), Alex Mandela (Kabale Sharp FC) and John Mugweri from FUFA Big league side, Simba Football Club.

For starters, Spartans Football Club plays in the Scorpion group of the Kampala regional league.
They are based at the Mashariki ground in Seguku-Katale but host the home matches at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.
The club has of late secured a shirt sponsor, Nkambwe Supermarket, a rare feat for regional based sides.

Throughout the duration of the tour the club officials and players will be residing at the FUFA Technical center in Njeru.

Spartans Football Club is second in the Scorpion group with 21 points, off 10 matches.
