KCCA manager Mike Mutebi has let the cat out of the bag on why the club opted to let defender Isaac Muleme leave the club.
The left fullback is believed to have sealed a deal to Egypt and had been left out of the Ugandan champions CAF Champions League squad for 2018.
“Muleme betrayed our trust,” said Mutebi. “He lied about his state of the contract with us and we couldn’t trust him anymore,” he added.
Mutebi also says life after the Ugandan international is very okay with three good young players already lined up to fill the void.
I have lined up youngsters Mustapha Kizza, Herbert Achai and Hassan Musana to fill his void.
Besides Muleme, the club has lost striker Tito Okello and are on the verge losing goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan who wasn’t registered for continental competitions by the Kasasiro.
