Twenty one players have been summoned for Uganda Sevens training ahead of a busy 2018 international season.

The Sevens Rugby Cranes will participate in the Hong Kong HSBC World Series qualifiers before traveling to Gold Coast, Australia for the Commonwealth Games and later the World Cup in San Francisco, USA.

Coach Tolbert Onyango has summoned the team that resumes training next week for early preparations.

League leaders Pirates have six players on the team in Ivan Magomu, Isaac Rujumba, Desire Ayera, Raymond Emanzi, Baron Kasozi and Timothy Kisiga.

Kobs’ James Ijongat, Al Hadji Manano, Adrian Kasito and Timothy Mudoola are part of the squad as well as Heathens duo of Michale Wokorach and Lawrence Sebuliba.

Buffaloes’ Eric Kasita and Kevin Kermundu as well as Rhinos’ Bryon Oketayot are joined by the foreign legion of James Odongo, Pius Ogena, Philip Wokorach, Aaron Afoirwoth, Joseph Aredo and Solomon Okia.
