After a failed move to Kenya Premier League side Tusker a few weeks ago, Gift Ali has returned to Proline Football Club.
The club confirmed Ali’s return in a tweet;
Guess who is back in the den. Ladies and gentlemen join us to welcome back Prodigal son Gift Ali who returns from Police FC.#WeAreProlineFc #OneBlood #ThisIsMyLife #ProlineSoccerAcademy pic.twitter.com/RbegpRHDLF

The midfielder played for Police FC during the first round of the season and parted ways with the side on mutual consent after a proposed move to the brewers that never materialized.
The prodigal son returns to side alongside Ronald Musana from Nakummat FC in Kenya and Ajuna Richard a club academy graduate as well as Richard Luyima as the new additions in the mid-season window.
Proline lost talisman Fahad Bayo to Zambian side Buildcon, Simon Namwanja left for Masavu while Joseph Ssemujju re-joined Express FC.
Meanwhile, Proline take on Nkambi Coffee FC in the Uganda Cup Round of 64 at the StarTimes stadium in Lugogo today.
