Vipers’ new signing Daniel  ‘Muzeyi’ Sserunkuma has lauded the his former club, Express F.C.

The diminutive center forward was confirmed at Vipers on Thursday 1st February 2018 after close to a month of negotiations with Express FC where he had less than month left on his contract.

The former Victors, Gor Mahia, Nairobi City Stars and Bandari striker noted;

I would humbly like to thank all my coaches and teammates at Express Football Club for the opportunity but most importantly the fans for their incredible support.

I wish everyone at the club success for the future.

During his unveiling ceremony at St Mary’s Kitende last week, Sserunkuma expressed gratitude upon joining Vipers Sports Club.

I am delighted to join one of the biggest clubs in the country at the moment.

Vipers is a a club with big ambitions and am ready to help them achieve them the goals every time am called to play.

I thank my managers and everyone and promise to give my all whether in training or matches.

Sserunkuma scored six goals in the first half of the season with Express Football Club.

He was a second half substitute during Vipers’ 3-1 away victory against Bronken Sports Club in Kasese.

Sserunkuma replaced Erisa Ssekisambu with about 20 minutes to play during the Uganda Cup round of 64 engagement on Saturday.

Vipers are chasing a third championship and lie third on the 16-team log with 26 points six points adrift of log leaders SC Villa.

On 10th February 2018, Vipers will make the short trip across town to lock horns with Soana at the Kavumba Recreational Stadium as the Uganda Premier League second round gets underway.
