Former Uganda Cranes defender Ausi Kaya has urged the current generation of players to conduct themselves well wherever they play.
Kaya said this at the fundraising for his medical funds at Lugogo on Wednesday where more than Four Million shillings were collected on the day.
“I am so happy for the love you have shown me,” Kaya said when given the opportunity to speak. “Such things (playing fundraising games) always happen to people when dead but for me, it has happened when am alive. I can’t thank you enough,” he added.
And to the current footballers, this is a big lesson that you have to always conduct self well. The fans and other people appreciate that and it has shown today.
Kaya previously played for State House FC, Police FC, KCCA and Proline.
Three charity games were played involving KCCA and Proline fans, Police FC against KCCA and Kawempe Old Timers against Friends of Ausi Kaya.
