After succumbing to a solitary strike by Fred Amaku to lose 1-0 against Kirinya Jinja SS, Proline coach Mujib Kasule has urged his boys to step up against UPDF.

Proline visits the army side on Tuesday at the intimidating Bombo Barracks under pressure to move away from the relegation zone.

Kasule admitted his side were below average against the Jinja based side although he says the game could have been earlier won if they converted their chances.

“We operated at 40 per cent against Kirinya,” Kasule told upl.co.ug, “They wanted it more than us,” he added.

Of course the long break affects us – both the players and management but now we have to forget this and plan on getting the three points against UPDF.

The visitors will rely on the experience of Savio Kabugo at the back, Richard Luyima in the middle of the pack and Daniel Isiagi upfront.

Meanwhile, Steven Bogere’s UPDF will want to build on their encouraging performance in the 1-1 draw away to Masavu on Saturday.

Joseph Janjali will still be the main man for the hosts as well as Robert Nakyenalire.
