Two Ugandan footballers plying their trade in the Botswana top flight football league, Ivan Ntege and Francis Olaki have continued to impress immensely.
Midfielder Ivan ‘Kojja’ Ntege played full time as the Botswana reigning champions humbled visiting Al Merriekh 3-0 during the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round at the national stadium in Gaborone.
Ntege was alert throughout the game with timely blocks and supply of the ball from all distances.

Former Meat Commissioner defender Mosha Gaolaolwe opened the scoring.
Molefeng E. Moalosi and Segolame Boy netted the other goals for the Township Rollers.
On the other hand, striker Francis Olaki’s Extension Gunners condemned Mochudi Centre Chiefs to a 3-1 loss in the national league at the University of Botswana Stadium.

Olaki offered a hand in one of his club goals on the day.
Skipper Desire Bafana, Mmoloki Kebalepile and Mmipi Ofentsi were on target for Extension Gunners.

Ntege and the rest of the Township Rollers players will face Police on Friday, 16th February 2018 in a league duel.
Township Rollers lead the 16 team log with 40 points from 17 matches.
On Sunday (18th February 2018), Extension Gunners make the away trip to Uniao Flamengo (UF) Santos at the 6600 sitter Molepolole Stadium.
The Gunners are 6th on the table standings (with 24 points, same as Police) as UF Santos sits second from bottom with just 10 points off 17 matches.
