Former Uganda Cranes head coach Moses Basena and the current goal keeping coach Fred Kajoba flew out to the United States of America on Sunday morning.

The duo shall spend three weeks at Major League Soccer Club, New York Red Bull for specialized coaching courses.
As quoted by the official FUFA web portal, Basena lauded the federation for the financial support as well as former Uganda Cranes captain Ibrahim Sekagya for the placement.
He singled out the opportunity as a plat form to expand on his knowledge as a football coach.
It is such a great opportunity for me as an individual and the game of football in Uganda.
I expect to learn a lot from the coaches at Red Bulls because they are ahead of us as regards to professionalism and football dynamics
He envisages the chance granted as an opportunity to share the learnt aspects with fellow Ugandan Coaches.

Kajoba tagged the granted chance as a lifetime opportunity;
This is a lifetime opportunity, I thank FUFA and the legendary Sekagya for the opportunity which any coach would like to land on.
Ugandan football will not be the same again after the course.
The development comes as a fulfillment to a promise by the federation when the process for the search of a new national team coach was started and completed.
The federation facilitated for the return air tickets, accommodation as well as the allowances while in the USA for the two coaches.

Basena is not attached to any team at the moment since the job as Uganda Cranes head coach was taken over by Frenchman Sebastien Desabre.
Kajoba, on the other hand remained the goalkeeping coach as well as the head coach at Uganda Premier league side, Bright Stars Football Club.
