The Arua based club has not won a league match since the start of the second half of the season, with a goal-less home against Express before falling 2-0 to Vipers at St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.

Most recently, Onduparaka also bowed out of the Stanbic Uganda cup after losing 3-2 to Soana at the Kavumba Recreational stadium.

BUL kicked off the second round with a 1-0 victory against Uganda Revenue Authority before losing 2-0 on the road to Express.

Against BUL, a club with whom they drew goal-less in the first round, the Catarpillars aim rediscovering the winning touch.

With an enviable home run where they remain unbeaten in all competitions.

Currently fourth on the 16 team log with 26 points, Onduparaka targets another sublime home performance against a 10th placed side with 21 points off 17 matches (BUL).

Key players:

The home side will look to the charisma of their 12th player in the terraces, the fans for the much needed inspiration.

On the field of play proper, lead striker Ceaser Okhuti and teenager Ezra Bidda, midfielders Gadaffi Gadihno, Ivan Mbowa, goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato, left winger Viane Ssekajugo are some of the key actors they will look forward to.

The visiting side has Douglas Owori, Patrick Asiku, Abu Mayanja, James Otim, Hamis Tibita and Patrick Sembuya as some of the pillars upon which the team will be built.

Yunus Sibira who limped out against Express remains a big doubt for the match that will be expected to be a physical contest.

BUL traveled to Arua on Sunday night and arrived safely by Monday morning before conducting their final training session on the eve of the match.

Either tacticians at the helm of the respective clubs are friends and once worked together at URA.

Livingstone Mbabazi at Onduparaka and BUL’s Kefa Kisala were both exciting former Uganda Cranes midfielders in their hey days of active service.

It is therefore incumbent upon each of the respective coaches to impact their style of play onto the teams they handle.
