Matia Lule believes Uganda Hippos’ tie against South Sudan in the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers will be tough.
The Hippos face the South Sudan counterpart in a two legged tie with Lule’s charges hosting the first leg in Kampala on March 30-April 1, 2018 with the return leg scheduled for April 20-22, 2018.
“We know the quality of players South Sudan has in their team,” Lule told Fufa’s official website. “It will not be a simple game as some people may want to assume,” he added.
We started our preparations very early by taking the team to Zambia for the COSAFA tournament. We shall also have a camp soon for these youngsters.
The winner between the two neighbours will face off against Cameroun in May.
