The development followed a 2-1 loss to Sam Ssimbwa’s coached Sofapaka in Narok.

AFC Leopards had earlier drawn and lost one match apiece.

This followed a heated up National Executive Committee meeting held on Thursday in Nairobi.

Former assistant Dennis Kitambi will be the interim head coach until a permanent decision is sought.

AFC Leopards is already out of the CAF Confederations Cup after suffering defeat to Madagascar club, FOSA Juniors.

FOSA Juniors qualified on the away goal’s rule after a one all aggregate score in the preliminary round of the competition.
