- URA 2-0 Police

Police FC’s winless run in the league stretched to seven games thanks to a 2-0 defeat to URA at Namboole.
New signings Moses Seruyide and Herman Wasswa scored for Paul Nkata’s men in the first half to condemn the Cops to a third successive loss.
Seruyide put the hosts in the lead with a fine free kick in the 38th minute before Wasswa made it 2-0 at the stroke of half time.
Wasswa thought he had stretched URA’s lead in the second half but his goal after a well-timed header off a corner was cancelled minutes after the centre referee had given the goal citing infringement on Police custodian, Davis Mutebi.
The Cops failed to break down Nkata’s URA as the hosts took all three points that see them leapfrog the 2005 champions in 7th position with 26 points.
Abdallah Mubiru’s charges now drop to 8th on the log with a point adrift, 12 points behind leaders SC Villa and only 7 better than Proline who are in relegation zone.
